All groups/individuals were given the chance to choose their own brief and develop it in line with their own sensibilities. The music videos were cleared in advance with the artists and both groups have documentary evidence of their right to use the music tracks in the form of emails and web notices from the artists involved.
Music for the teasers trailers and short films in non-commercial library music free of copyright for student usage.
All groups worked independently and brought in others for specific roles including performance.
Edits were produced on iMacs using iMovie11 and garageband where appropriate. ancillary products were created using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Other PC based software was used outside of the classroom.
